With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jim Buchanan (Sussex, New Brunswick), born in Hammondvale, New Brunswick, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 8, 2025 at the age of 59. He was predeceased by: his father Maurice Buchanan; his grandparents, Leona, Alvin Davis, Harry and Edna Buchanan; his sister-in-law Carol Hawkes; his uncles, Jim Davis, Doug Davis, Alvin Davis Jr. and Melbourne Buchanan; and his aunt Eloise Adair.

He is survived by: his mother Connie Buchanan (Davis); his cousin Gary; his wife Linda; his children, Twyla Buchanan (Josh Reicker) and Justin Buchanan; his grandsons, Jack and Emmett; his brother Kevin Buchanan (Tammy); his nephews, Colin and Dylan; his siblings-in-law, Don Hawkes, Bryant Hawkes (Gwen), Allan Hawkes (Ann) and Evelyn Richardson; his pets, Buck, Marge and Harris; his aunts and uncles, Marion, Steve Lamb, Rob Davis, Janet, Calvin Fenwick, Patricia Palmer, Marina Buchanan, Zeta Seeley, Randy Buchanan, Doreen, Robert McGouey, Judy McKinnon, Carol, Ralph Dempster, Melvin and Barb Buchanan; his caregiver Ashley; and also, Dr Robert Dunfield and Dr Allaby.
