He was predeceased by: his wife Elizabeth Trites (Wright); his parents, Lester Trites and Ethel Trites (O'Brien); his son Mark Trites; and his brothers, Austin, Eugene, Weldon and Arnold.
He is survived by: his children, Dianne Reicker, Doreen Trites and Stephen Trites; his great grandchildren, Jake (Mycah), Jessica (Daniel) and Justin (Tiffany); and his brother Aubrey Trites. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
