He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Austin Benson and Iva Benson (O'Dell); his wife Beverly Veinot; his stepchildren, Andrew Veinot and Angela Chase (Brian); his sister Gloria Murray; his stepgrandsons, Ross and Marcus; and his nieces, Kathleen and Jacqueline Murray.
Due to COVID-19 the funeral service will be held privately.
