With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donald Nelson Thorne (Sussex, New Brunswick), born in Havelock, New Brunswick, who passed away on September 7, 2022 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alden Thorne and Clara Thorne (McEwen). He is survived by: his daughters, Donalda Storey (Harry) of Berwick, Lori Webb of Sussex and Patsy Shay of Alberta; his brother Eldon (Marilyn) of Sussex Corner; his grandchildren, Allison Rehel, Kristin Shay (Matthew Besharah), Tommy Storey (Heather) and Holly Lackie (Derek); his great grandchildren, Brooke, Colton Storey, Paislee and Georgia Besharah; his wife Aileen; and his siblings, Pearson and Elsie. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and cousins.
