He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Underhill and Dorothy "Dot" Madsen; his stepfather Lloyd Madsen; his brother Allie; and his stepdaughter Deanna King.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Jayne (DeGrace); his son Jonathan Underhill (Amanda Acker) of Dartmouth, NS; his granddaughter Ashlynn King; his son-in-law Michael King; his sister Wanda Smith (Doug) of Fredericton; his parents-in-law, Heather and Francis DeGrace; and his siblings-in-law, Lori (Terry), Shari (Craig), Carrie (Peter), Tammy and Todd. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
