He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Hayes and Marguerite Hayes (Whiteneck); and his wife Elaine Hayes (Kerr). He is survived by: his children, Kelly Hayes-McEachern (Kevin) of Moncton, Kim Leland (Michael) of Moncton and Kevin Hayes of Sussex; his grandchildren, Garnet, Colin LeMesurier, Jason Leland and Rachel Rice (Zachary); his great grandchild Hayes Cook; and his siblings, Ken (Linda) of Moncton, Robert (Roxanne) of Sussex, Mildred McHugh of Saint John, Linda Haines of Saint John and Louise Steeves (Gerald) of Wheaton Settlement. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
