He was predeceased by: his wife Madeline (Carr); his son Jim; his son-in-law Tim; his brother George; his parents, James McFarland and Marion McFarland (Proctor); and his stepmother Grace (Proctor).

He is survived by: his daughters, Carlene (Ron), Barbara (Marshall), Cathryn and Ann (Levi); his daughter-in-law Sandra; his grandchildren, Stephanie, Brent, Jamie, Jennifer, Luke, James, Robert, John, Martha, Anna, Katie, Michael and Nicholas; and his great grandchildren, Matthew, Ellen, William, Adam, Gavin, Kaimen, Darien, Lucie, Chloe, Jeneca, Seth, Ella, Finley, Malcom, Lillie, Rose, Riel and Reid. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Due to the recent COVID-19 regulations, Proof of NB Identification and Vaccination must be provided for entry and masks are mandatory.
