He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Dean Short of Newfoundland and Jewel Short (Vincent) of Sussex; his significant other Amy Corey of Wards Creek; his daughters, Kayleigh and Brianna; his brother Chris Short (Jessica) of Waterford; his grandmother Shirley Vincent of Newfoundland; his nieces and nephews, Sadie, Jaxson, Jacob and Maddox; his aunts and uncles, Beverly Fudge, Hank Vincent (Trudy), Bonnie Fudge (Gilbert), Michelle Fifield (Dennis), Conn Vincent (Paulette), Sherry Russell and Allison Mazerolle (Don); his grandparents, Harvey Vincent, Norman and Meta Short; his uncles, Keith Short and Raymond Short; and his cousin Paul Vincent.
