He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Armstrong and May Armstrong (Northrup); his wife Lillian Armstrong (Pearson); his siblings, Cal, George, Jim, Pauline, Florence and Barb; and his grandson Nicholas.
He is survived by: his children, Rob (Lorraine), Beth Armstrong, Bev Black (Ron) and Joy Baskin (Dave); his grandchildren, Kate, Dan, Ryan, Chauncey, Darcy, Megan, Zack, Molly and Kyle; and his sisters, Gladys Wies and Faye Pearson (Bill). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Due to COVID-19 the funeral service will be held privately.
