He was predeceased by: his parents, William "Barber" and Irena Virtue (Price); his former wife Joyce (Graham); his children, Mary-Ellen Virtue, Brenda Skoglund, Eric and Bennie Virtue Jr.; and his half-siblings, Hazen Virtue, Douglas Virtue and Nellie Hancock.
He is survived by: his wife Donna; his children, Richard Virtue (Shirley) of Knightville, Patricia Virtue of Sundry, AB, Anthony Virtue (Iva) of Saint John, Ian Virtue, Shelly Wright of Sussex and Mary-Ann Kowalchuk (Frankie) of Edmonton; his grandchildren, Michael Virtue, Jonathan Virtue, Dee-Anna Virtue, Amanda Smyth (Dave Bluhm), Kristen Kowalchuck, Zack Kowalchuck (Emily) and Andrew Loughery (Ember); and his great grandchildren, Logan, Mikeala Loughery, Addison, Lily Smyth, Quin Bluhm and Mia Virtue.
