It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alton Edward Chown (Sussex, New Brunswick), who passed away on July 24, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Chown and Florence Chown (Parlee); his sister Jean Kelly (Long); and his brothers-in-law, Arlington Kelly and Ronald Kierstead.
He is survived by: his wife Bertha Chown (Kelly) of Gibbon Mountain; his children, Cathy Morris (Donald) of Mount Middleton and David Chown (Martha) of Gibbon Mountain; his sister Doris Thorne (Charles) of Sussex; his grandchildren, Kristen Chown, Heather Kearley (Alex), Courtney Baird (Jesse), Christine Morris (Brett), Bailey Chown (Chelsey) and Colby Chown; and his great grandchildren, Hunter Edwards, Aurora, Lincoln Baird, Emily and Allison. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.
