She was predeceased by: her parent Willard Mitton; her siblings, Earl, Murray, Doug, Walter, Cecil, Vernon Mitton, Verda Fanjoy and Margaret Bruce; her granddaughter Natalie Anderson; and her former husbands, Milan Alexander and Frank Cole.

She is survived by: her parent Mildred Mitton (Burns); her children, Pat Alexander (Rick Hopper) of Penobsquis and Jim Alexander (Maralyn Watt) of Edmonton, AB; her grandchildren, Samantha Anderson (Paul Mederios) of Toronto, ON, Amanda Anderson (Chad Cosper) of Austin, TX, Chris Anderson (Devon Henderson) of Waterford, Cody Anderson (Brittany) of Antigonish, NS, Brandon Anderson of Charlottetown, PE and Michael Alexander (Timberly Coughlin) of Edmonton, AB; her great grandchildren, Aiden Alexander, Oliver, Owen and Thomas Anderson; her stepchildren, Elmer Cole (Kathy) of Sussex Corner, Sandy Cole of Sussex Corner, Barb Guptill of Sussex, Margaret Kyle (Roy) of Apohaqui and Susan MacKenzie (Ken); her siblings, Jackie Armstrong, Betty Myers (Raleigh) and Bobby Mitton (Paulette); and her brother-in-law Harry Fanjoy. She is also survived by several step-grandchildren, great-grandchildren.
