She was predeceased by: her husband Harry Young; her parents, Stanford McKibbon and Emeline McKibbon (Bryenton); and her siblings, Barbara Bruce, Elsie Taylor, Faye Jardine and Guy McKibbon.

She is survived by: her children, Paulette Ellis (Bob) of Cassilis, NB and Edwin (Phyllis) of Miramichi, NB; her siblings, Louise Small of Amherst, NS, Ruth Silliker of Lyttleton, NB, Arlene Silliker of Lyttleton, NB and Ned (Patsy) of Lower Derby, NB; her grandchildren, Chris Young (Jennifer), Tracey Savoy (Sheldon), Tanya Augustine (Adam) and Missy Butler (Rob); her great grandchildren, Colton Butler, Riley Butler, Ethan Augustine, Joe Augustine, Katie Augustine, Madison Young, Venessa Savoy, Allyshia Daley, Danika Woodburn, Kyron Amos and Owen Amos; her grandchildren, Stephanie, Sueanne and Sophie; her great great grandchild Little Will Woodburn; and her close friend Gus. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
