She was predeceased by: her parents, John Foran and Louise Foran (Matchett); and her siblings, Bernetta Goodwin, Mary Ibberson, Dan, Winston and Bev.

She is survived by: her children, Ann Maltby (Ernie) of Newcastle, NB, Judy Maltby (Doug) of Riverview, NB, Kathy Sheasgreen of Cassilis, NB, Mike (Kathy) of Newcastle, NB and Joe Jr. (Libby) of Boom Road, NB; her grandchildren, Melanie, Mike, Kirk, James, Bryan, Greg, Hilary and Cailin; and her husband Joe. She is also survived by eighteen great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews.

As expressions of sympathy, in Kay's memory donations may be made to Saint Thomas the Apostle Roman Catholic Church.
