He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Sutherland and Clara Iris Sutherland (Howe); his siblings, Wilson, Charlie, Davis, Robert, Martha, Mina, Leora and Clara; and his granddaughter Twilight Lee Anne.
He is survived by: his children, Karen Sutherland (Bliss McAllister) of Sunny Corner, NB, Judy Soifer (Allan) of Ottawa, ON, Elizabeth Beaven (Bruce) of Ottawa, ON and Allan Sutherland of Miramichi, NB. He is also survived by six grandchildren, five great grandchildren, one great great grandchild as well as several nieces and nephews.
As expression of sympathy, in James's memory donations may be made to the St. Stephen's United Church Fund or a memorial of one's choice would be appreciated by the family.
