James left this world on November 4, 2024 at the age of 86, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Osborne Johnston and Dora Johnston (Sherrard); his daughter Shari; and his siblings, Shirley Matchett and Donald Johnston (Donna) of Sunny Corner.
He is survived by: his wife Lina Johnston (Bryenton) of Sunny Corner; his children, Kirk Johnston of Sunny Corner, Kelly Johnston (Claude Stewart) of Sunny Corner and Susan Davies (Jamie Canivet) of Ontario; his siblings-in-law, Nan Johnston and Murdoch Bryenton (Pat); his nieces and nephews, Chris Johnston, Joshua Johnston, Jeff Johnston, Eric Matchett, Darren Matchett, Kim Volpe, Neisha Johnston and Paula Bryenton; and his great-niece Skye.
A funeral service was held on Sunday, November 10th 2024 from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM at the St Stephen's Presbyterian Church (1777 Hwy 425, Sunny Corner, NB E9E1C7).
