He was predeceased by: his parents, Patrick Hogan and Catherine Hogan (Foran); his brothers, Peter and Eugene; and his daughter-in-law Sandra.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret Hogan of Northwest Road; his sons, George Hogan of Sunny Corner, NB, Michael of Strathadam, NB and Bradley (Heather) of Moncton, NB; his siblings, Eileen Scott (Mel) of Miramichi, NB, Patricia Piché (Tracy) of Calgary, AB, Elizabeth Hogan (James Comeau) of Miramichi, NB and Louis (Lynn) of South Esk, NB; his grandchildren, Tim (Kristen), Kirby, Ryan, Vicki (Jon), Lauren and Jordan; and his great grandchildren, Annabelle and Isabelle. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Due to Covid-19 there will be no visitation.
In George's memory, donations may be made to the Diabetic Association or St. Thomas the Apostle Roman Catholic Cemetery.
