Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Douglas Norton of Sunny Corner, New Brunswick, who passed away at the age of 91, on September 11, 2024. He was predeceased by: his siblings, Burton, Willis, Weldon, Harvey, Ronald, Herschel, Bobbie, Leonard, Hubert, Henry, Annie, Alice and Olive; and his nieces and nephews, Betty Ann Redmond (McCoombs), Winnie McKibbon (Norton), Steven Norton, Paul Norton, Gordon Norton, Donald McCoombs, William McCoombs and John Downs.
He is survived by: his wife Joan Norton (Tozer); his children, Charlene Gibson (Dale) and Robert Norton (Kathryn); his grandsons, David Norton and Liam Gibson; and his sisters-in-law, Audrey Tozer (late Bobbie), Sunny Corner, Dale Tozer of Fredericton, NB and Geraldine Black Quispamsis (Douglas). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Stephen's United Church, General Fund, Red Bank or Wesley United Church Cemetery Fund in Trout Brook or a charity of the donor's choice.
