We are sad to announce that on April 9, 2022, Christine Helen (Matchett) Whitney (Sunny Corner, New Brunswick) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Earl Matchett; her former husband Lindsay White; her husband Tim Whitney; her children, Joey, Gordie and Elsie Grace; and her granddaughter Little Lyndsay.
She is survived by: her children, Donna (Tom) of Miramichi, Darlene of Miramichi, Mina (Bobby) of Miramichi, Doug (Lisa) of Miramichi, Alison of Miramichi and Valerie (Wade) of Miramichi; and her sisters, Roma, Eva and Rhoda. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Sunny Corner Arena or to a memorial of the donor's choice.
