He is survived by: his mother Villa Matchett of Sunny Corner, NB.; his wife Angela Matchett (Stewart); his children, Whitney Matchett (Greg) of Vancouver, BC, Brandan Matchett (Jessica) of Sunny Corner, NB and Mallory Matchett (Mark) of Edmonton, AB; his siblings, Derek Matchett (Brenda) of Kingsville, ON, Bradley Matchett (Heather) of Fredericton, NB and Wendy Childs (John) of Ottawa; and his grandchildren, Reayah, Lincoln and Poppy. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins.
As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Miramichi SPCA, St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church Cemetery Fund or to a memorial of one's choice.
