He was predeceased by: his wife Marie Chamberlain; his siblings, Marcella Bernier (Gerald), Christine Thomson (Michael), Leo James Russell and Arnold Russell (Karen); and his brothers-in-law, Gerald Bernier, Kenneth Lavigne and Allen Daigle.

He is survived by: his children, Cindy Russell (Norman), Terry Chamberlain, Gary Chamberlain, Samantha Russell (Daniel), Amanda Russell (Reme), Tony Chamberlain and Stephanie Peterson; his grandchildren, Lora Russell, Emma Summer, Cloe, Nickolas and Abby; his great grandchildren, Ashley, Auston, Mazzerolle, Katelynne and Tylor; and his siblings, Greta Lavigne (Kenneth), Constance Daigle (Allen), Rose Marie Martel (Paul), Anthony Russell (Gloria) and Roger Russell. He is also survived by twenty one nieces, eleven nephews, cousins and friends.
