He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Green and Lena Hayes (Kenny Hayes); his siblings, Henry, Willis, Richard and Sharon; his grandson Luke Walcer; and his nephews, Gerald, Troy, Michael and Carney.

He is survived by: his wife Juanita; his children, Nicole (Larry) and Nick (Victoria); his grandchildren, Madison, Ashton and Isabella; and his caregivers, Abby and Krista.
