He was predeceased by: his parents, Angus MacKinnon and Edna MacKinnon (Hood); and his sister Ethel McIsaac. He is survived by: his spouse Shirley Marie MacKinnon (Reardon); his sons, Terry (Kimberley) and Brian Joseph William; his granddaughters, Elisa (Kevin) and Chelsea (Jesse); his great grandchildren, Kyra, Kaison and Kolton; his siblings, Ernest MacKinnon (Tina Reynolds) and Annie MacKinnon of Yarmouth; and also Sharon.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Bill's name to Hospice House, Fredericton SPCA, or to a charity of the donor's choice.
