She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Townes and Lillian Townes; her son Carl; and her brothers, Basil, Orville, Murray and Elton Townes (Edmund Richard).
She is survived by: her children, Lewis McLaughlin (Ann) and Lorraine McLaughlin; and her grandchildren, Eugene McLaughlin, Sandi McLaughlin, Jennifer Rancourt, Jessica McLaughlin, Jeremy McLaughlin, Connor McLaughlin, Ashley McLaughlin, Dylan McLaughlin, Tiffany Doucet and Nicole Gardner. She is also survived by sixteen great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
