She was predeceased by: her parents, John C. Dougherty and Bernice L. Dougherty; her brother Johnny Dougherty; and her parents-in-law, Lloyd Stewart and Vera Stewart.

She is survived by: her husband Brett; her daughter Kim Shannon (Gary); her grandson Gavin; her sisters, Pam Rogers (Vern) of Levant, Maine and Debbie Hill (Russ) of Calais; and her sister-in-law Myrna Kinney of Pleasant Ridge. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and cousins.
