It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Orville Gerald Townes (St Stephen, New Brunswick), born in Lawrence Station, New Brunswick, who passed away on May 14, 2019, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Charles and Lillian Belle Townes (Blakley); his wife Verna Townes (McLaughlin); and his brothers, Basil, Murray and Elton.
He is survived by: his sister Rita Dickinson; and his nieces and nephews, Kenneth Townes (Sharon), Wade Townes (Tanya), Louis McLaughlin (Ann), Lorraine McLaughlin, Davina Cook (Morton), Clyde Townes (Harriet) and Katrina Stewart.
