“Mike, you have always been one of my very favorite people. From getting lost in the giant house in st andrew's to long afternoon visits either at your house or at mom's you always made me feel special. Mom cherished you and your friendship. You were always part of the family. My fondest memory will be you always asking me to let you drive my car! Hahaha. The fields just were not big and flat enough. Rest in peace my dear mike. I love you.”

Charlotte S wrote a sympathy message

“Our family was saddened to hear from the Neilsons that Louise passed away recently. Our sincere and heartfelt condolences to all her family members. She was known to us as Mary's Mom or "Grandma Blacklock" when our children were younger. We had the joy and pleasure of getting to know her during her Vancouver visits with her daughter, Mary (my best friend). She was a kind and caring woman who made others feel like they were a part of her family. Love and prayers - Charlotte Sakaki & Family”
