He was predeceased by: his parents, Eddy Leavitt and Hilda Leavitt (Harris); and his brother Gaston Leavitt. He is survived by: his son Blake Leavitt (Megan); his granddaughters, Daryan and Fallyn Leavitt; his siblings, Eunice Lord (Alden), Marcia Heaysman (Art) and Edward Leavitt; and his sister-in-law Glenna Leavitt. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the S. O. Mehan & Son Funeral Home Ltd. (23 Main St, St Stephen, NB E3L1Y9). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the S. O. Mehan & Son Funeral Home Ltd. (23 Main St, St Stephen, NB E3L1Y9).
