He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph DeMerchant and Mary DeMerchant (Clark); his wife Linda DeMerchant (Linton); and his brother Danny DeMerchant. He is survived by: his son Jamie McLean; his stepchildren, Cindy Smith of St. Stephen, Rosanne Smith (Bob) of St. Stephen and Ron Smith of Edmonton; his great grandchildren, Rhetton and Reece Brown; his granddaughter Hannah; and also, Madison Polk and Mason Polk. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.
Due to Covid 19 restrictions, there will be no funeral service or visitation at this time.
