He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry H and Frances (Tucker); his siblings, James "Bud", William "Bill", Janice Thornton and Pheobe Horne; his grandson Deven Woodside; and his nieces and nephews, Kim Bell, Susan Webster, Vicki Lou Tapley, Joan Bridges, David Horne and Tracy Tapley.
He is survived by: his wife Erma Tapley (Merrill); and his children, Bonnie Woodside (Daniel), Marlene Woodside (Lenny) of Oshawa, ON, Gail Hatt (Chris), Blaine Tapley (Betty), Dana Tapley (Vicky) of Edmonton, AB, Deann Farrell (Fabian) and Lori Caldwell (Scott). He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren, twenty-seven great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
