He was predeceased by: his parents, Neil Cleghorn and Eva Cleghorn (Garnett); his son Dale Cleghorn; and his brothers, Roland, Wallace, Neil and Earl.

He is survived by: his wife Marina (Orr); his children, Lynn Cleghorn (Linda), Debra Scullin (Andrew), Robbie Cleghorn and Gail Boucher (Peter); his grandchildren, Justin (Casey), Eric, Elaina, Joseph, Cody (Kelsey) and Mitchel; his great grandchildren, Madsen, Harper, Keyan and Kamryn; and his brother Carl Cleghorn (Connie). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
