He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Neilson and Mary Neilson; and his siblings, David Daigle and Doreen Doucet. He is survived by: his wife Susan Neilson; his children, Laurie Black (Danny), Ricky Neilson (Erin) and Joey Neilson; his grandchildren, Kathleyn, Braden, Brianna, Dawson, Alannah, Kori and Jace; his great grandchildren, Brooklynn and Nathan; and his siblings, Linda Graves (Jim), Betty McCurdy, Jeannie Graves (Noel), James Neilson (Nancy) and Kathy Moore (Larry). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 19th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the S. O. Mehan & Son Funeral Home Ltd. (23 Main St, St Stephen, NB E3L1Y9). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 19th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.

For those who wish, donations can be made to the Charlotte County Cancer Society or a charity of one's choice, in Eric's memory.
