He was predeceased by: his parents, Cyrus Dexter Sampson and Barbara Sampson (MacKelvie); and his siblings, Dexter Sampson (Joan) and Anita Latham (Don). He is survived by: his wife Joyce Sampson (Thompson); his children, Helen Sampson (David), Heather Sampson, Robert Sampson (Darlene) and John Sampson (Grace); his grandchildren, Brian, Emma (Beardsall), Michael, Matthew, Rebecca (Sampson), Jacob and William (Sampson); and his brother Kenneth Sampson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
