He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Byram and Andrina Byram (Bouchard); and his siblings, Francois, Francoise, Francine, Dominique, Bernice and Rena.

He is survived by: his wife Nancy Byram (Madore); his sons, Dominique (Tammy) of Bertrand, Michael of Notre-Dame, Alvin (Mario Jr.) of Saint-Leonard and Maine; his grandchildren, Tyler, Shane, Samantha and Damien; his siblings, Grace St-Pierre (Harold) of Van Buren, Maine, Charles (Julie) of Saint-Leonard, Stanley "Gago" (Line) of Sudbury, Luc, Louise of Saint-Leonard, Denise Michaud (late Daniel) of St-Leonard-Parent and Parise of Saint-Leonard; and his brother-in-law Yvon O. Martin of Notre-Dame. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
