It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rita Roberta Blanchard (St George, New Brunswick), born in Miramichi, New Brunswick, who passed away on April 3, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harvey Williston and Annie Roberta Williston (Taylor); her husbands, Andew Mills and Armand Blanchard; her children, Rickey Blanchard and Donna Lynn Blanchard; her grandchildren, Dawna Blanchard and Jeremy Dougan; and her siblings, Ira, Ivan, Junior, Wayne, Lewis, Earl, Max, Hilda, Johnson, Iona Blanchard and Thelma Kilantella.
She is survived by: her children, Andy Blanchard (Debbie) of St. George, NB, Donald Blanchard (Gwen Kincade), Wesley Blanchard, Joan Hicks (Clint) of Saint John, NB, Diane Dougan (Mark Dion) of Saint John, NB, Sandra Justason (Terry), Sharon Daigle (Bobby) of Beaver Harbour, NB, Cindy McDougall (David) of Pennfield, NB and Gloria Russell (Darren); her daughter-in-law Marilyn Blanchard of Pennfield, NB; and her siblings, Dillis Williston of Miramichi, NB and Shirley Kinney. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 12 great grand children and one great great, grandchild.
In Rita's memory, donations to the Charlotte County, Cancer Society, Heart and Stroke foundation of New Brunswick or a, charity of the donors choice would be appreciated by the, family.
