With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Phyllis May Thorne (St George, New Brunswick), born in Saint John, New Brunswick, who passed away on September 15, 2021 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Gladstone Carr and Alice "May" Carr (Clark); her husband John Thorne; her son Gordon "Maurice" Thorne; her son-in-law Phillip "Sam" Voutt; and her sisters, Ruth Green and Norma Nason.

She is survived by: her children, Kim Vance (Larry), Tammy Voutt, James "Allen" Thorne, Beverly Bernard (Jean Rock), David Blagdon (Sharon) and Carole Dickeson (Brian); and her siblings, James Carr (Bettina) of Burlington Ontario, Connie Richard and Susan Creary. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, as well as her many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Donations to the Canadian Alzheimer's Association or a charity of one's choosing would be greatly appreciated by her family.
