She was predeceased by: her parents, Gorman Aker and Helen Aker (Ward); her husband Sheldon Vance Harris; her daughter Gail Marie Harris; and her sisters, Joyce Matheson and Doreen Cook.
She is survived by: her children, Terry Harris (Melinda) of Canal, NB, Diane Young (Burt) of St. Stephen, NB, Helen Harris of St. Stephen, NB, Barb Richard (Frank) of Blacks Harbour, NB and Donna Beach (Robert) of St. Stephen, NB. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
