He was predeceased by: his wife Marie Edna Dewar (Pettie); his parents, Everett Dewar and Marion K. Dewar (Kagler); his children, Gary and Linda Orchard (Robert) of Fredericton, NB; his grandchildren, Peter Orchard and Jennifer Scott; his brother Sherman Dewar; his grandsons-in-law, Troy Charters and Kevin Smith; and his sons-in-law, Dan Frost, Gerald Gillet and Earl Scott.
He is survived by: his daughters, Debbie Scott of Bethel, NB, Donna Koteff (Larry) of Pennfield, NB, Nancy Frost of Saint John, NB and Carol Leavitt of St. George, NB; and his brothers, Ronald Dewar of St. George, NB and Ralph Dewar (Lynn) of Beaver Harbour, NB. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren and eight great great grandchildren.
