He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Godin and Marie Godin (Gauvin); his wife Elizabeth Godin (Breau); and his sisters, Pauline Blanchard and Janet Blanchard.
He is survived by: his close friend Anne; his daughter Carol Ann Comeau of Blacks Harbour, NB; his stepchildren, Steve Poitras (Debbie) of Norton, NB, Tina Cleveland (David) of Quispamsis, NB and Carol Melanson of Grand Manan, NB; his granddaughter Amy Comeau (Shawn); his stepgrandchildren, Cody Campbell and Chelsey Campbell (Max); his great grandchildren, Brandon (Sarah), Kathleen and Sophie; his great great grandchild Elijah; and his brother Medrick Godin (Irma). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In Louis' memory, donations to a charity of the donor's choice would be, appreciated by the family.
