She was predeceased by: her husband George D. Nelson; her parents, Fred Wilson and Marjorie Wilson (Benson); and her siblings, Garfield Wilson and Virginia Green.
She is survived by: her nephew Joey Green (Diania) of Grand Manan, NB; and her nieces, Susan Parker (Herb) of Grand Manan, NB and Elaine Maker (Roger) of Grand Manan, NB. She is also survived by several great-nieces and great-nephews and cousins.
In her memory, donations to charity of the donor's choice would be greatly appreciated by the family.
