She was predeceased by: her parents, Willard Harris and Helen Harris (Libby); and her sister Ruth Howard. She is survived by: her spouse Norval Gowan of Bocabec, NB; her children, Marilyn McNeil (Shawn), Dale Gowan (Janice), Dean Gowan (Lisa) and Wendy MacDonald (Brent); her foster son Rick Layton; and her brother Ray Harris. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
