He was predeceased by: his parents, John F. Birt and Therese Birt (Chaisson). He is survived by: his wife Carol Birt (Fox); his daughter Sydney Birt; his parents-in-law, Fraser and Eileen Fox; his siblings-in-law, Brian Fox (Maureen), Debbie Fox, Janet Fox, Diane Curtis (Kim) and Barb Fox (Butch); his nephews, Jeremy Fox (Jodi), Aaron Fox (Natasha), Josh Curtis (Amber) and Ryan Curtis (Stephanie); and his niece Heather Fox (Will). He is also survived by several great nieces and great nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
