He was predeceased by: his parents, James Smith and Myrtle Smith (Black). He is survived by: his wife Deborah Smith (Ferguson); his children, Brian Smith (Daniella) of Squamish, BC and Sondra Smith of Victoria, BC.; his stepchildren, Victor Matanovic (late Ivonna) of Stouffville, ON. and Danielle Dobinson (John) of Oshawa, ON.; his grandson Ty; his stepgrandchildren, Kyle, Leah, Olivia and Madalyn; and his siblings, Dale Smith (Martina) of Thunder Bay, ON. and Elizabeth Daley (Robert) of North Tetagouche.
