He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Duffy and Patricia Duffy (Colford). He is survived by: his wife Vivian Duffy (Blackmore) of South Esk, NB; his stepdaughters, Kim MacIvor of Miramichi, NB and Janice Despres (Patrick) of Miramichi, NB; his sons, Christopher Blackmore of Miramichi, NB and Rodney MacIver (Shannon) of Miramichi, NB; and his siblings, Marie Parks of Miramichi, NB, Willis Duffy of Miramichi, NB, Bernard Duffy (Maxine) of White Rapids, NB, Earnie Duffy (Theresa) of White Rapids, NB and Jeffery Duffy (Betty) of White Rapids, NB. He is also survived by several step grandchildren as well as nieces and nephews.

Due to Covid 19, a private family visitation will be held at Bell's Funeral Home on Thursday, July 9th.

As expressions of sympathy, in Richard's memory, donations may be made to the Miramichi Food Bank or a memorial of one's choice.
