She was predeceased by: her parents, Alexander Post and Eva Post; her husbands, Eugene Buckingham and Perley Hathaway; her son Dale Buckingham; and her siblings, John Post (Laura), Helen Crain (Barry), Douglas Post, Edward Post (Rita), Phyllis Doherty (Cecil), Violet Post, Ruby Chase (Elwood), Doris Britton (Frank) and Charles Post.
She is survived by: her children, Joyce Buckingham of Somerville and Gerald Buckingham (Marg) of Fredericton; her grandchildren, Andrew Buckingham (Kristy-Ann), John Buckingham (Amanda), Kerri-Leigh Buckingham and Benjamin Buckingham; and her great grandchildren, Naomi, Anna, Aaron, Jessica, Micah and Macy Buckingham. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
