He was predeceased by: his parents, Clovis Gautreau and Eva Gautreau (Gallant); and his siblings, Gérald, Alonzo, Edgar, Généva, Dorice, Jeannette and Rachelle.
He is survived by: his sisters, Aline Gautreau (Robert McPhail) of Bouctouche and Lina Gautreau (Gerard Cormier) of Shediac. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
