Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Léopold Melanson (Shediac, New Brunswick), born in Scoudouc, New Brunswick, who passed away, on May 25, 2024. He was predeceased by: his parents, Léo Melanson and Laura Melanson (Landry); his brother Adrien; and his brother-in-law John LeBlanc. He is survived by: his wife Jeannine; his daughter Joanne Martins of Rocky Hills; his siblings, Claude (Léa) of Notre-Dame, Omer (Murielle) of Ste-Marie, Victor of Richibucto and Auréa LeBlanc of Shediac; his sister-in-law Marguerite Melanson of Shediac; and his grandsons, Austin Martins and Jeremy Martins. He is also survived by several brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated.
