We are sad to announce that on February 5, 2022, Léonie Melanson (Shediac, New Brunswick) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Donelle and Ozithe Donelle (Richard); her husband Théophile; and her siblings, Blair, Arthur, Emma, Ida, May and Éveline.
She is survived by: her children, Alma Arsenault (Roger) of Moncton, Edmée Dupuis (Léonard) of Pré, Emery (Anita) of Grande-Digue, Jeanine Leger (Noël) of Cormier-Village, Jeanne Melanson (Paul Landry) of Saint-André, Rita Savoie (Nicolas) of Campbellton, Alfred (Louisa) of Cocagne, Marie-Belle Godin (Daniel) of Saint-André, Albert (Annette) of Barachois, Jean-Paul (Claudette) of Cap-Pelé, Laura Boudreau (Fernand) of Cap-Pelé and Eric (Lucie) of Drummondville, QC; and her siblings, Annie Donelle of Shediac, Eva Melanson (late Alcide) of Shediac, Raymond Donelle (Maria) of Cap-Pelé, Lucie Cormier (late Cléophas) of Moncton, Marguerite Pinard (Georges) of Shediac, Cécile Surprenant (Guy) of Fredericton and Doris Simard (Denis) of Sept-Îles, QC. She is also survived by 24 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.
