She was predeceased by: her parents, Blair Melanson and Alma Melanson (Melanson); her husband Alcide Thibodeau; her daughter Roseline Cormier; and her siblings, Dorice Melanson and Yvon Melanson.
She is survived by: her children, Bernice Gaudet (Louis-Joseph) of Grand-Barachois, Bertrand (Lise Belliveau) of Grand-Barachois, Rhéal (Jacqueline) of Grand-Barachois, Régis (Elva) of Grand-Barachois, Diane Léger of Grand-Barachois and Lise Thibodeau (Normand LeBlanc) of Grand-Barachois; her grandchildren, Paula, Terry, Luc, Josée, Natasha, Jérémy, Mireille, Mario, Jacques, Marc and Karine; her great grandchildren, Justin, Janie, Samuel, Sylvie, Camille, Charlie, Max, Loane, Zoey and Lucy; her sister-in-law Bernadette Melanson (Belliveau) of Shediac; and her brother Joe Bourque (Stella) of Moncton. She is also survived by one niece and two nephews.
