He was predeceased by: his parents, Aimé Bourque and Edmée Bourque (Landry); and his siblings, Clarence (late Elda Boudreau), Ronald Bourque, Maria Léger (late Donat), Léontine Cormier, Francis, Roméo (Pauline Cormier) of Cap-Pelé and Ulyse.

He is survived by: his wife Trudy Bourque (Stelter); his daughter Deborah Bourque of Toronto, ON; his siblings, Lorraine Ouellette (late Henry) of Cap-Pelé, Jean (late Elsie) of Cap-Pelé, Marie-Jeanne Gallant (Alphonse) of Cap-Pelé, Annette LeBlanc (Elphège) of Petit-Cap and Geneva Leger (late Alonzo) of Bas-Cap; his stepbrother Moril (Lynn) of Trois-Ruisseaux; and his siblings-in-law, Jeanine LeBlanc (Victor) of Shediac and Luc Cormier of Shediac. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
